The firm, with its primary offices located in Washington, DC, produces extraordinary events both nationally and internationally. The firm and Mrs. Johnson have been featured in local, regional and national publications including Redbook, Essence, Brides Noir, The Washington Post, The Baltimore Sun, The Knot, The Hill, Express among others. She is a featured planner on Style Network's hit television show Whose Wedding Is It Anyway? Her reputation for logistically flawless events and a snarky sense of humor has the firm requested by society's finest and has taken her team across the country and world. Mrs. Johnson is also the creator of the widely popular and award winning wedding blog DC Nearlyweds (www.dcnearlyweds.com). The blog has received nationwide acclaim for its informative and witty content. Mrs. Johnson was named Entrepreneur of the Year in 2003 for the astounding strides her firm made in the special events industry and has received numerous accolades and recognition since. She is a requested speaker and presenter for the International Special Event Society (ISES), Association of Bridal Consultants (ABC), and Association of Wedding Professionals (AWP) and She has been featured on CNN's American Morning as an industry professional. She is also the past contributing style editor for the nationally distributed Brides Noir magazine. Mrs. Johnson serves as an adjunct professor instructing and certifying students in wedding and event planning at the college level.
