Author Biography
Audie W. Starkey is a retired pipeliner and 2 time State Champ Giant Pumpkin winner. He was born in 1950 in Gladewater, Texas, and grew up in a military family. He has lived all over the world and went to 8 different schools in 12 years. He went to high school in Gardner, Kansas. One of his main loves in life is college football. He is an avid, totally devoted LSU fan. Audie is blessed with the gift of gab, and never meets a stranger. He has always kept journals of events in his life that were of major significance to him. He has been dreaming of writing and publishing books for many years, and is grateful that his dream is finally becoming a reality.
