The competence gain in the study of Mathematics is widely used in all spheres of human life. Mathematics plays a key role in shaping how individuals deal with the various spheres of private, social, and civil life。 This justifies the compulsion of the study of the subject by all students who go through basic and secondary education in most countries. Mathematics is therefore a core subject at all levels of education in the Philippines. The findings of the study are that learners have a limited knowledge and understanding of visualizes division of decimal numbers using pictorial models, hence their performance in items on the topic is poor. A great proportion of the learners have serious misconceptions of the inclusion of decimals and division added on students' understanding of the operation of division and decimal numbers. The study recommends a structured focus on visualizing division of decimal numbers using pictorial models. It recommends clarity for teacher trainers, textbook writers and teachers on what learners need to learn division. It recommends serious exploration of errors and misconceptions on inclusion of decimals on activities and a teaching approach that considers errors and misconceptions as opportunities for learning.

The author is a proud Subanen from Zamboanga Sibugay, Philippines. He is a diverse teacher who is passionately handling learners of different learning styles. He also easily used to encourage, manage, and motivate learners to learn from the different cultures being one of the members of the Indigenous People in the country. He takes the responsibility of becoming a proficient teacher using his professional skills and efficiency to communicate his ideas and views and commit himself for achieving organizational objectives with the team effort and his positive attitude and performance. He inspires the children who will represent the future generation. His dream is to become a Teacher. He tries to have any kind of effect in others' lives through teaching. He considers being a grade school teacher since he accept that kids can accomplish quite a lot more on the off chance that they adapt right on time of their potential. Despite the fact that the tests for accreditation and studies can be troublesome, his enthusiasm for teaching and devotion to forming the lives of his studies are the things that props him up. The ultimate objective is to sustain the improvement of his understudies to wind up dynamic and connected with members in the public arena, and that is the thing that he expects to do totally. He holds the degree of Doctor in Development Education. He graduated his master's degree in Master of Arts in Education major in School Administration and Supervision at Cebu Technological University. He finished his Bachelor in Elementary Education major in General Education at Mindanao State University. He experienced both public and private schools teaching. Recently, he is the school guidance designate at Mayor A.S. Fortuna Memorial Elementary School, Guizo, Mandaue City, Cebu.
