This is a manual to help those who cannot afford or for reasons of their own do not wish to speak to a therapist or counselor. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) Does not focus on the problem, but one the solutions. It doesn't dwell on trauma and is often used in the treatment of PTSD for this reason. CBT believes that what one thinks (Beliefs, ideas) causes what one feels (emotions) which cause behavior. If we change our thoughts (cognitive) we change our emotions and we can change our behavior. This manual will help guide a person toward that goal. It is simple to read and has examples and assignments to help.
