The Staff of Might, an artefact from ancient times in which the elemental powers of the four fallen gods reside, is no longer considered lost.
Hungry for this power, King Sajam Foran instructs his commandant Forn Andrasvár to recover it. He is accompanied by an army of five hundred men, as well as Dorgan Mor, his best friend. But only Forn knows the true purpose of the journey.

They set out for Nagh-Bróa, the dark valley at the far end of Arenbór. Doubt, hunger and madness are only a few of the ordeals they will endure on their long journey. Far greater and deadlier dangers await them.
Their will to fulfill the mission is put to a hard test from both, external and internal forces.

But something is stirring in the East. An ancient evil, long thought to have been destroyed, has awakaned and is reaching out its dark arm to them.
