by Horizon Gitano (Author)
This, the second collection of short stories from Horizon Gitano, is evidence of his inexhaustible imagination and weirdness. Full of extremes - from friendly rivalry gone way too far to inappropriate assumptions about standards of beauty and love - these stories and accompanying illustrations will challenge you until you want to puke or have someone committed (perhaps yourself, the author, someone next to you...). Beware, the series continues
Author Biography
Growing up was never easy for me. I mean one day I was happily peeing in my own drawers, the next my voice was changing. All the time being raised by a knife-wielding maniac with a pack of wild dogs. Perhaps that's why I'm still so immature. Rather than growing my outlook on life and accepting things as they are, I simply became more verbal about my own infantile view of the world and how things "should be." Maybe that's why I still hand write nasty notes to the IRS on the rare occasion that I actually fill out income tax forms. Of course, in my own defense, I can honestly say that "big brother" has his "big head" stuck up his "big ass" fairly often. Like in the case of a parent wanting to avoid having to appear in person at the US Embassy to renew a child's passport: you have to go to the embassy to notarize the form saying that you can't make it to the embassy. (NOTE: Yes, I'm a US citizen, and, yes, I reside overseas). Joseph Heller would be proud. I'm not un-American (despite the best efforts of the government), but some time you just gotta say "WTF?"
