Paul McCartney, Bruce Springsteen and Jimmy Buffett have been the long-time favorite singer/songwriters of the author of this book entitled "Catholic Boys: McCartney, Springsteen and Buffett." Only recently did he realize all three men were born Catholic and raised that way for at least part of their youth. Since he was also born and raised Catholic, has performed music for the last fifty years, and went through some of the same spiritual shifts as these superstars, James McQuiston thought it fitting to combine their stories into one interesting volume. In some cases their spiritual paths parallel each other, though each seems to have displayed a unique expression of that journey. This "unauthorized" book takes a simple look at three very talented and highly-successful men who have shaped the character of much of modern life in the Western world.

Author Biography

James McQuiston has been a musician and writer for over 50 years. He has produced several other non-fiction, historical books along with websites, magazine articles and public presentations. He is a Fellow with the Society of Antiquaries of Scotland, publishes a web magazine at celticguide.com, and performs pop and Celtic music at many events each year. He has seen all three subjects of this book in concert and is an avid fan of their music and their remarkable lives.
