Peter Blood, after years of adventuring as a soldier, as how decided to settle in as a physician in the English countryside. Unfortunately a rebellion breaks out. Author Biography
Rafael Sabatini was born in 1875 in Iesi, Italy, to an English mother and an Italian father. Early on he lived in Italy, England, and Switzerland. Sabatini moved to England permanently at age seventeen. Although he was a master of six languages, he preferred to write in English. Sabatini produced thirty-one novels, eight short story collections, six non fiction books, and a play. He is best known for The Sea Hawk, Scaramouche, Captain Blood, and Bellarion the Fortunate. He died in 1950.
