by Kurt a. Hill Sr (Author)
This is a story of a healer who thought he was being called to heal another only to find that the healing was for himself. This book takes the reader on a journey through the chambers of soul: it demonstrates just how universally we are linked. It reveals the heart of a human seeking to find himself while serving others. What does one do when betrayed by right intention? This book dares you to witness your own unfolding as you step through the looking glass and view the world of a shaman.
Author Biography
With national and international recognition and acclaim, Kurt Hill is modernity's version of a Thaumaturge. Kurt has been involved in the study and practice of holistic health care for more than 20 years and, during that time, he has created a unique type of healing, which he calls Advanced Psychosomatic Character Therapy (APCT). APCT effectively integrates vibrational and energy medicine; Reichian and Neo-Reichian bodywork; therapeutic massage; and spiritual counseling. In addition to being a Licensed Massage Therapist, Kurt offers CranioSacral Therapy (Upledger Institute, Levels 1 and 2); Trigger Point/Myofascial Therapy; Healing and Chelation Therapy; and Healing Touch. He has studied the practice of dream analysis, with a particular focus on the theories and practices of Jungian analysts: Drs. John Sanford, Robert Johnson, James Hall and Robert L. Moore. Internationally, Kurt has studied advanced healing techniques in Japan; Holotropic Breathwork with Dr. Stan Grof in Switzerland; and has been exposed to studies in China. In 2011, Kurt graduated with a Masters in Divinity from the Chicago Theological Seminary with a specific focus in the "psychology of theology" and Jungian theory. Kurt offers seminars and training in APCT (levels 1 through 3); Holotropic Breathwork; psychic phenomenon; electromagnetic readings (and their specific meanings); medical intuition; as well as a wide array of workshops for facilitating personal growth. Past educational offerings have included internship training through the Soma School of Massage Therapy in Chicago, Illinois. Kurt has three amazing children (now adults): Kurt Jr.; Erik; and Kaila; a wonderful daughter-in-law, Nikki; and four cherished grandchildren, Noah, Jonah, Bella and Lillah. He lives in Chicago with the "love of his life," Sara Davenport.
