Amy Van Patten Ofenbeck is a former TV news anchor and reporter who suffered a life threatening ruptured brain aneurysm. She's had 8 brain and spinal surgeries as a result. The aneurysm also paralyzed a vocal cord leaving her without a voice for a year before surgery would take care of it. Today she's doing well working part time for Goodwill Industries of Southwest Florida's E-commerce department.
