Bloodcursed - Paperback

by Ellina Langlitz (Author)

Seventeen-year-old Tess has always tried to be the good daughter. In a small town overshadowed by missing posters and rumors of animal attacks in the woods, she's learned not to question her parents-or the system they believe in. Despising the government she lives under, Tess escapes into time spent with her two best friends. She thinks her ordinary life is never going to change, but after a terrifying accident that she should not have survived, Tess begins experiencing impossible visions and disturbing flashes of the future. Soon, she realizes Bridgefall is hiding something far darker than rumors. And somehow, it's connected to her.

Whilst developing deep feelings for one of her best friends, Luke, she and her friends decide to spend a night at their local supermarket as a way of an epic teenage adventure. Yet by morning, the supermarket never reopens. Tess and her friends are trapped inside with a young witch whose power has spiraled out of control, while government agents flood the town, prepared to kill anyone who stands in their way. As secrets unravel and danger closes in, Tess must embrace the very powers she never asked for, before the truth destroys everything she loves and her life changes forever.
