Author Biography

Retired New York State Supreme Court Justice Randolph Jackson was born in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn, New York, and is a graduate of New York University and Brooklyn Law School. He has worked on Wall Street with the firm Nixon, Mudge, Rose, Guthrie Alexander & Mitchell, served as a housing court judge, civil court judge, and criminal court judge, and was elected to two consecutive fourteen-year terms as a justice of the Supreme Court of the State of New York. In 2010, after thirty years of service, he retired from the bench. A lifetime member of the NAACP, Jackson currently practices law in midtown Manhattan and continues to contribute to the world around him as a bible teacher, empowerment consultant, motivational speaker, patron of the arts, and author. He has thus far written two books, How to Get a Fair Trial by Jury, published in 1978, and Black People in the Bible, originally released in 2002 and now in its second edition.
