Author Biography
Esly Regina de Carvalho, Ph.D. is a Brazilian-American clinical psychologist with 30 years' experience in Psychodrama and group therapy. She was certified as a Supervisor of Psychodrama in 1988, the Brazilian Federation of Psychodrama - FEBRAP. Having founded the Psychodrama movement in Ecuador in 1990, she went on to pass the certificartion exams, with distinction, for the title of Trainer, Educator and Practitioner in Psychodrama, from the American Board of Examiners in Psychodrama, Sociometry and Group Psychotherapy. Esly presently maintains a private practice in Bras?lia, Brazil, after many years of working and training in Ecuador and Dallas, Texas. She recently published a book, integrating EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and Role Therapy, Healing the Folks Who Live Inside, as a result of her work with EMDR therapy and Psychodrama.
