But as I met more and more people with MS, I realized that there were many similarities to their story! That was when I saw that the book was also useful for some people who actually have MS. This book chronicles my diagnosis; the time in an MS'ers life when we are saying, 'what the heck is going on?' 'Am I crazy?' Well, we are not crazy. Okay, maybe I am a little. How else could I tell strangers about my toilet troubles in the same book that I talk about my fabulous heels? I do hope you enjoy it. Marlo About the Author American author, Marlo Donato Parmelee was born 29 May, 1972, and is the youngest daughter of an Irish mother and Sicilian- American father. Marlo grew up on Long Island, NY and received a BA in classical Music from the Aaron Copland School of Music at Queens College, NYC. She moved to London in 2004. In 2004, at the age of 32, Marlo was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, the most common neurological disease amongst young adults today. From diagnosis her attitude has been 'forget MS, I still look hot!'
