Author Biography
Shelley is single, a trained librarian who loves reading, writing and listening to her favorite music. A born again Christian, Shelley was raised in Connecticut. She moved to New York to attend graduate school and upon graduation made Brooklyn her home. She has been writing poetry for many years, rhyming poetry being her favorite form. She is learning the art of Haiku and Tanka poetry writing and also enjoys writing and creating form poetry. She has worked in corporate America for more than fifteen years as a documentation specialist. Presently she works in a university in New York.
