Author Biography
Herman J. Obermayer, served for more than thirty years as editor and publisher of two independent daily newspapers --- "The Northern Virginia Sun" and the "Daily Record" (Long Branch, NJ). He served for two years as a Pulitzer Prize judge. His memoir, "Soldiering for Freedom: A GI's Account of World War II," has received wide critical acclaim as has his book "Rehnquist: A Personal Portrait of the Distinguished Chief Justice of the United States." Rehnquist was translated into Chinese in 2012, and has been a best seller there.
