Author Biography
Heinrich Ludwig Julius Heppe (March 30, 1820 - July 25, 1879) was a German Calvinist theologian and church historian. Heppe specialized in dogmatics and Hessian church history. At Marburg, he was an antagonist to the Confessional Lutheranism followed by professor August Friedrich Christian Vilmar (1800-1868).
