This book speaks to the importance of family in the lives of children.
Especially grandparents and in particular, grandmothers.
It is based on my Mothers' belief that every child, no matter their chronological age, yearns for a grandmotherly hug that affirms that they are valued and loved.
I wrote this book as a reminder and an encouragement to the village to be available to children when the "falls" of life happen.
For often, all that is needed is just a hug or an encouraging word to set the world right again.
And, may I remind you, you don't have to be a grandmother to make a difference in the lives of hurting children.
