by John Prime (Author)
After returning from a Dartmouth Training Squadron deployment to the USA and West Indies in February 1982, HMS FEARLESS changed back to her amphibious role and proceeded to Northern Norway for Exercise ALLOY EXPRESS in March. This was to give to Royal Marines training in Arctic Warfare. Using the steep sided fjords as extra protection from attack, FEARLESS gained experience in beachhead defence. However, little did anyone onboard know then that this was to prove vital in winning the Falklands War and importantly saving lives and ships.
This Chronicle is a definitive account of those 100 days for FEARLESS' Class of 1982.
